WHY AT&T?
AT&T has always been the carrier of choice due to their breadth and depth of products and services, and a global infrastructure second to none for its reliability and security. At one time you had to justify their cost based on performance and net savings over time. But thanks to dramatic bundled offerings, AT&T can now be very price competitive up front as well. Let us show you—we can make your decision easy!
NETWORK ARCHITECHS is proud to be a certified AT&T Solution Provider, because only with AT&T can we provide you with ALL of the following benefits:
AT&T owns and operates both wireless (mobility) and “wireline” (fiber optic, T1, etc.) infrastructure.
This enables them to provide fully integrated and managed high speed cellular backup to your network. This is a huge benefit to you, since most outage problems occur due to breaks or other issues in the fiber or wire in the ground that is provided by a Local Exchange Carrier (LEC) to connect from your facility to the AT&T backbone. AT&T’s automated cellular backup means that any such outage is immediately corrected to avoid downtime.
AT&T security capabilities and options are second to none:
• Global threat analysis 24x7x365
Only AT&T processes and analyzes OVER 1,300 TERABYTES OF GLOBAL TRAFFIC DAILY (3.8 BILLION RECORDS PER HOUR), giving them an unbeatable advantage in detecting and combating all forms of malware.
• Firewall choices
You can opt for AT&T-managed premise-based firewalls or, for the ultimate in security, a single Network-Based Firewall (NBFW) which checks and protects virtually all of your Internet traffic in conjunction with the AVPN network discussed below.
• Extra security
You can customize your level of security with add-on options such as Cloud Web Security Service (CWSS) and Secure E-Mail Gateway.
• Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS)/RansomWare/Extortion defense options
You can now choose between Proactive and Reactive DDoS services to suit your needs and budget. But like any insurance, you can’t sign on after disaster strikes—so contact us now!
• Vulnerability Management Services
Three different levels of services are available to suit your organization’s size and security requirements. Services can include Vulnerability Scanning, Annual Penetration Test, Social Engineering Test, SecurED Security Awareness Training, Insight Peer Analysis, and corresponding consulting advice from cyber security experts, as well as compliance testing to meet the requirements for HIPPA, PCI, ISO, and SOX.
You benefit from the numerous advantages of the AT&T Virtual Private Network (AVPN), AT&T’s proprietary implementation of Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS):
• Private / secure
The AVPN fiber optic backbone is independent from the Internet. All of the traffic among your AVPN nodes is inherently private and secure, with no need for intervening firewalls or encryption. Extend this private capability to include cloud services by employing AT&T NetBond Virtual Network Connections (VNC) rather than connecting via the public Internet.
• Any-to-any connectivity
AVPN traffic is automatically routed directly between nodes, avoiding “hair pins”; this improves performance and makes the most efficient use of bandwidth to minimize your recurring cost.
• Scalable for adding sites & cloud services
Adding a new location or cloud service? Simply add as a new node, using NetBond to connect to the cloud service.
• Reliable / Self-healing
AVPN traffic is routed via the fastest means, automatically bypassing any MPLS segment outages.
• Low latency / Faster transfer
Traffic delay through the AVPN is consistently in the tens of milliseconds, unlike public Internet traffic which is subject to unpredictable delays and even packet drops. This is absolutely vital for voice-over-IP (VoIP) and video applications, which cannot tolerate such anomalies.
AT&T is at the forefront of technological advances such as Software-Defined Wide Area Networks (SD-WAN):
• AT&T Flexware supplies multiple remote-programmable functions in one all-purpose box. This provides you with fast installation and the flexibility to add connectivity, backup, and security enhancements to suit your changing needs and budget.
AT&T offers numerous other products and services which they integrate to ensure compatibility, overall management, and optimum system performance while reducing overall cost. Offerings include:
• Network-based and premise-based firewalls as discussed above.
• AT&T NetBond for private virtual connections to cloud-based services, as discussed above.
• Your choice of premise-based or cloud-hosted VoIP or a hybrid.
• AT&T Mobility for integrating portable wireless devices with your desktop computers and phones to support small offices, telecommuting, and “road warriors.”
• AT&T Mobile Resource Management (MRM) to track, monitor, manage, and coordinate all of your organization’s assets, including its workforce, vehicles, and anything else you want to connect to your shared network—your entire Internet of Things (IoT).
• Access diversity to different physical points of your key facilities for the ultimate in site reliability.
Cost savings:
AT&T has always been cost effective in the long run by providing superior performance, reliability, and security. But now they offer all of this at an entry price point that makes your decision even easier. For example, they have a bundle offer called AT&T VPN Value Bundle Express (VVBx) for businesses with 2 to 50 nodes which includes free wireless backup for most nodes and a number of other special-price options. In addition they are contracting with a growing number of LECs to offer greatly reduced access pricing.
